Thank you so much for organizing a
special surprise party this afternoon.
Harry was thrilled! I enjoyed
viewing the awe when he opened the downstairs door to find all of you there
with "surprise!" and flowers and balloons and cake and coffee and
cheese/crackers and fruit and sweet regards all around.
And, really! A John Singer Sargent print! Satomi, what a sweet surprise! Thank you!
And, really! His favorite composers are the 19th-20th
century Russians?! Who knew?!!
Stories of his upbringing and movement,
his accomplishments and commune lifestyle choice. Again, who knew??!! You all asked!!
Excellent!
All of us thoroughly enjoy his presence
in our lives. I absorb it as a unique
privilege since 1997! (I do remember the
first recital. I chose not to play so
intimidated was I at that time!)
